Hi All,
We had a thread a while back on suppliers of the polycarb. and glass panels,
etc.
needed for greenhouse construction, but I've managed to lose the copies. I'm
looking
for first rate materials to build a 16' x 58' glass or polycarbonate
greenhouse /
atrium on the back of a new home and all I can find is 4 Seasons who wants
approximately $50,000. for the job. I think that price is entirely out of
line but
can't find alternate suppliers yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On a related note.. to my last post, that is...
Paula, would you have any objection to me setting up an automated archive
system for
the list on my server? I could set up an email to web interface for the list
fairly
easily since I already archive several private (corporate) lists there. I have
plenty of spare space and bandwidth and it's on a well connected server at Pair
Networks.

Someone on this list suggested using molasses water as a bug repellent on
plants. I have a problem with flea beetles on my eggplants in my outside
garden. I didn't have any molasses, so I tried King Syrup and water. The
next day I didn't have any fewer flea beetles, but I now had a whole bunch
of new insects all over the plants licking off the sweet King Syrup. There
were all kinds of flies, ants, little wasps and bees. This drove the flea
beetles nuts!. lol Have you ever watched a fly trying to lick off a flea
beetle? rofl The poor flea beetles got no peace. The new growth on the
plants looks much better since the flea beetles could not be left alone to
even feed. I wonder if this is how it works? I'm not sure how well it
would work in a greenhouse where access to the plants by other insects would
be limited, but it works in an outdoor garden.
BTW, for those of you who may not be familiar with King Syrup, it is a
thick, dark corn syrup and sugar product.
