the preference to monoculture all male tilapia stems from a desire to
channel all energy into growth rather than reproduction. The males grow
faster for these species (n.b. there are species where the females grow
faster than the males). Co-culturing depends upon matching size, behaviour,
growth rate, relative densities.

Hi
Can anybody refer me to a bulletin board, news group or whatever one calls
aquaponics@townsqr.com, that has ornamental fish as main topic?
