All fo those things! Properly done, a good compost is mixed by ratios of
carbon source to nitrogen source depending what you are trying to grow
with
the compost.
A very well turned out publication on composting is "On Farm Composting"
by
one of the New Engalnd states-someone will know which.
In reality most things will compost well and it is dead easy.
