Hi all
.before my system started up, I had a pH of 7.6 and I was a little 
concerned about that, but I had many individuals reassure me that it was 
fine and would probably lower itself throught the nitrification process.  
Now, I have swung the other direction
.Any suggestions for raising the pH 
to a more desirable measurement?  Right now, my pH reading is at about 6.0.  
I am thinking it should be more like 6.5 or 6.8
.FYI, the gravel I use in 
my system is granite from a local quarry
.might this be part of the 
problem?
