Hello All;

Bad news. I received a virus. It is called
W95.Hybris.gen, and the email
looks like this:

From: "Hahaha"
Sent: Saturday, July 14, 2001 1:54 AM
Subject: Snowhite and the Seven Dwarfs - The REAL
story!

> Today, Snowhite was turning 18. The 7 Dwarfs always

mornign, they promissed a

the door open, and the

The attachment was joke.exe. I did not open it and
infect my computer. The
reason I received it is because someone who has sent
me an email recently
has the virus. The virus monitors all email
activities and sends out this
replica of itself. This is a widespread and dangerous
virus. I DO NOT know
if it is related to the list. If you have the virus,
and send an email to
the list, it is possible that the virus sent itself to
the list and was
forwarded to all of us. There is a delay of an
unspecified amount of time
before it sends itself out, so unlike, for example,
the Kournikova virus,
you won't know immediately. Please check your
computer.

Especially if:

* you recently received a similar message and opened
an attachment
* you recently opened an attachment that didn't seem
to do anything
* you recently opened an attachment that put a spiral
pattern on your
desktop
* you recently opened an attachment with one of the
following names:
        - anpo porn(.scr
        - atchim.exe
        - branca de neve.scr
        - dunga.scr
        - dwarf4you.exe
        - enano porno.exe
        - joke.exe
        - midgets.scr
        - sexy virgin.scr
* you use the preveiw pane in Outlook or Outlook
Express to veiw your
messages

I sincerely apologize for posting irrelevant
information to the list,
however, if you read the information at:

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w95.hybris.gen.html
(has removal
instructions) I am sure you will agree that this is a
noxious virus.

Please do not open any messages with this title,
because if it was sent to
the list, you'll get it too. Please let me know via
private message if you
have it so that I will know it has been contained.

Thank you for your time,

Ada Erickson

Robert Rogers received the email too.

Therefore, the virus is coming from someone on the
list.

Please check your computers. Removal instructions are
available at the link
I previously posted.

P.S. I am trying to send these plain text, and if they
are not arriving that
way, please let me know, and I apologize.

Dear Andrei

There is a lot of practical advice at the homepage
"Growing Tomatoes
Hydroponically" www.ag.arizona.edu/hydroponictomatoes/
: this includes a
quiz that allows you to prune a tomato plant .
Really basic stuff in retrospect but helpful when the
tomato plant thinks it is Jack's beanstalk.

Subject: Iron in fish water ?
From: Bertmcl 'at' aol.com

Dear wonderful people on this great list. As part of
SARE grant I had a leaf
analysis and fish tank water analysis done by an lab
this week and the tests
show the following -
Iron (ppm Fe) in Aquaponic Zinnia leaf to be 25 ppm
in AquaponicDahlia leaf to be 34
ppm

according to Crotal Min, Concentration - General ,
taken from Nelson,P.V.
1998 "Greenhouse Operation And Management". Prentice
Hall, Upper Saddle
River,N.J. pg.346. it should be 50-60 ppm.

Does anyone have any experience in a suggestion for an
Iron Source that may
be added to the fish tank water without causing
problems with the Tilapia ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Andrei you need to train your tomatoes to single
stalks to get the most
fruit from them .Basically you have a main stalk with
leaf stalks coming
out of it alternating side to side .From each leaf
joint after the leaf
stalk grows out also develop 2 more buds 1 fruiting
bud the top one and
1 branching bud the bottom one you remove the
branching bud to keep the
plant from growing to large and promoting fruit
growth

Under all of your posts is a warning to delete
If you can tell
us, what do you do are you some sort of diplomat?

Hi everyone,

A while back there were a few interesting posts
about fly larvae and it got me to thinking about
the bee moth larvae in nearly every bait store.
I already have a vermiculture bed and raise
redworms but thought the bee moth larvae (waxworm)
would make a nice addition. All fish that I have
seen love them. One pet store has told me they will
buy them from me if I can produce a steady supply.
They are also great for reptiles. They are one of
the easiest larvae to raise and do nicely on a simple
diet of 7 parts dry dog food, 1 part water and 2 parts
honey.

there is lots of info on them and mealworms here.
http://aquanic.org/publicat/state/il-in/faq/mealwax.htm

thanks for suggesting the post, Bruce. I had been
meaning to but kept getting side-tracked.

have fun!
Mark
