I must apologize for some of my fellow Mormons comments many of us in
our zeal get carried away with being super Americans.We as a matter of
faith and duty to family have prepared to survive WW3 and lesser
tragedies by Stock piling every thing needed to live for first 1 and now
5 years in case of disaster though I dought many have more than a few
months on hand! We are as a faith Survivalists all of us! That said I
do not want to see the day it happens!
Unless the US is nuked with a lot of Nucular warheads Anthrax,Small
pox,any plague for that matter will be ineffective against us because
our sanitation systems prevent it keeping us safe and clean.With the
exception of Aids a plague will not can not start so stop sweating
it.The Plagues are meant to be used against displaced populations
devastated by war were sanitation is lacking and they are devastating in
such a situation but it will not happen here.
Do not get caught up in a Religion bashing situation against Islam
remember Isa is Jesus and Salam is Pease they used a play on words and
combined them in to Islam to name their religion
Pease of Jesus= Islam

2)The 1 billion muslims love Jesus or they could not be Moslem

Arabian Deserts and mountains still clinging to their non roman but vary
Christain beliefs. 200 years later to a Christain family was born
Mohamid he was raised as a Jesus believing Christain and died as one!
4)We of European desent know of the Protestant revolt of our forfathers
in the reformation against the Pope led by Luther and Calvin and we call
it the Reformation!
Know that it was not the fisrt Protesant Chrisain revolution against
the Tirany of Rome
Mohomad as a Christain sect leader raised a rag tag army of freedom
fighters (Mujuhadin means freedom fighters) and beat the Roman legions
out of his home land and then turned agaist other Idol worshupers in
Persia
Think of what it was like on that morning when the 10,000 freedom
fighters of Mohamads Muhajadin faced the unbeaton army of Rome and won!
What a history changer Rome went in to the dark ages because of that
day!
My ansesters could only stop Rome at the Rine river at great cost of
lives.
If Mohamod did not win that battel Rome would have ben to strong for
Luther and calvan.
We would all be kissing the Popes ring and Smith would have died burnt
at the stake like so many before him
The differances between Islam and Euro-Christainity are soly
political and linguistic they are in truth one religion that pray to
the same God

You must be very intuitive and well read? In you wisdom with whom will the
Jews fight the battle of Armageddon. If I understand where you are going you
fill Moslems will fight with the Jews against whom? If memory serves Christ
will step in and finish the war of Armageddon saving the Jews, who he is one
of and are too this day, his "chosen people"? I did not see the bashing of
religion
you speak of but rather the bashing of things people do in the name of
religion.
I do not think any of us "want to see the day it happens" but that is not
going to stop what will happen. In NYC the roads were shut down and some ran
out of toilet paper. Having extra T.P. is not religious it is good sense.
Having extra seed in the freezer is good business. Having a closer source of
replacement stock is good period!
I do not plan to hide in a hole in the ground and just survive.

Brent you misread me ,yes I am well read that is why I know that Jesus
did not speak in Hebrew but in the Arabic tung of Aramaic still spoken
in Palestine by Marionite Arabs. Many now in the PLO are Christians such
as Arafat trying to get their homes back !
The overwhelming threat in the last battel is or was to come from the
north of Palestine from the area of Europe and Asia .the Eagel and the
Bear of the European union states and the Russ might be a place to look
at but I think it could have been Rome since it was at war with one
group of semites or another since it took over it's first Phoneasian
ship giving it sea mobility and starting the bloodbath about 700 years
before it actually concurred Israel in 60 BC.
In case you didn't know it All Semitic people Jews and Arabs included
lived by the feude so at the general time of Jesus's life Rome gave
standing orders to all Vassal kings to arrest any one claiming to be an
upstart revolutionary leader and to hand them over to be snuffed out in
sort of unpleasant ways.
3 claimed to be the masiah in Israel alone but any Profit that
talked about liberation generally had a short life line if Rome caught
them and by the way this was still so for 5 hundred more years up until
Muhammad the one that got away was allowed to mature .He is said to have

As for the New york tragedy I say we have plenty of buildings and
people if they knock some down we have many more so what.

That this attack was a false flag operation is certain. That it was
ordered from Afghanistan is unlikely look at who benefited! Once a cell
type organization is in place any Nations Intelligence branch can take
it over with a few strokes of a computer We do and They do all off the
time. The possibilities are Irac ,Isreal ,Russiea, China evan us did
this.
Having said this I still want to to see a few citys fry for it.

On the subject of grow beds and there relative height. Is it worth
haveing most beds at waist height and a couple at close to knee height
or shorter for the taller plants.? Tomatoes etc.

Bruce et all
Isnt it one of the basic tenets of just about every major religion in
the world that you should "do unto others as youd have them do unto
you". And another biggie that seems to be so easily pushed aside in the
name of justice and doing right " thou shalt not kill ".
When there so short and susinct like that its pritty hard to
interpret them any other way than exactly what is said. Didnt Jesus say
turn the other cheek as in offer the other cheek when atacked by
someone.
No I have no religion that I follow. But I am a spiritual man.
The only other thing Ill mention is that as far as Im aware fear
will show up in all kinds of disguises. Fear turns to anger and on to
hate which is a powerfull force when it takes over the psyche. It ends
up a spirraling force that will drag all involved in a devolutionary
spirall down. If thats and important thing for anyone to follow then
thats a personal choice. Peace cannot be found in war except when the
soul leaves the body.
Follow the force and keep the farce!!

I definitely think that the hreight of the beds needs to be tailored
to the crop. For short crops like salad greens and herbs, raised beds
at about 30" eliminates the stooping and bending at seeding, harvest
and bed clearing. For taller crops and vining crops the beds should
be as close to the ground as possible.

Your going to get as many answers on this as there are members of the list. but
My beds are two feet high. Two rows of 8inch concrete block filled with sand or pea gravel for
thermal mass plus one foot of pea gravel growbed (oh you caught me lieing that's 28 inches). If
they where lower i would have trouble draining the growbeds to the sumps. If they were higher I
would have little room for crops in the outside ends of my grow beds, because it's a round
house.
